Staying at Gynandha Ubud Cottage felt like a hidden gem right in the heart of Ubud. The Deluxe Double Room was spacious and immaculate, featuring stunning views of the rice fields, which made mornings magical. I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed and the serene atmosphere in the room. The staff, including Assistant Manager Rio, were incredibly professional and helpful, always willing to assist with any requests. I appreciated their kindness when they offered to fetch me by scooter after dark, given the somewhat intimidating walk back to the hotel. It was wonderful to find such a beautiful garden setting that felt like a refuge from the bustling town, yet was just a short stroll from the main road. However, the hotel could improve its service regarding transportation options. the airport transfers were overpriced compared to what I found locally. Also, the limited number of sun umbrellas by the pool meant some sunbeds were unusable during peak sun hours. Overall, the beauty of the place and the quality of service made my stay enjoyable, despite these minor inconvenience.

Water pressure in the shower weak!!! Temperature regulation difficult!!! Steep driveway might not be accommodating for everyone, especially after a long day exploring.

We absolutely loved the incredible bathtub and the beautiful view from our room. A downside was the limited pool sunbeds, but overall, we would definitely return!

Enjoyed a perfect stay for 3 nights. The pool view from my room was breathtaking. The staff made my stay even better by offering to drive me up the steep path whenever needed. Perfect for solo travelers looking for serenity in Ubud. Highly recommend contacting the team for a lift!

The biggest surprise was when I realized I left some important stuff in the safe, and they contacted me right away, even going out of their way to return it to me personally.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what you get, I’d say it’s worth it.
